Alizé Cornet: A Photo Essay

By Maria Noble In Archive

If you haven’t seen Alizé Cornet play a tennis match, I suggest you change that ASAP. She goes through a range of emotions when playing, as I’m sure 99% of the pros do, and she is not afraid to show all of them. It’s quite fun to watch and I think Alizé’s on court demeanor rubs off on her opponents sometimes.

These photos were from her last two matches at the Open GDF Suez.

Alizé is through to the semifinals in Paris where she’ll face Sara Errani. Also through is top seed, Maria Sharapova, who will play Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for a spot in the finals.
