Tennis At A Baseball Stadium?

By Maria Noble In Archive

Ever wondered what tennis at a baseball stadium would look like? Wonder no more. Next year’s first round Davis Cup tie between USA and Great Britain will be played at Petco Park in San Diego, home of the Padres. The matches will be played on a clay court in a temporary stadium built in the left field with an expected capacity of about 8,000.

Andy Murray is expected to make the trip to Southern California.

The tie will be played from January 31 to February 2, 2014.
